About the Council

The purpose of the FIU Coordinating Council is to coordinate efforts to develop and support a stronger group of school professionals and a stronger public education system.

Objectives

• Collaborate and communicate about the continuum of development for new and current education professionals
• Collaborate and communicate about activities with PK-12 schools, including the new Miami-Dade County Public School on FIU's campus
• Engage in joint activities such as grant proposals, symposia, and innovative programs.
