Student engagement in the COE community is what makes the COE the vibrant and dynamic place that it is, so be sure to participate in COE Events and COE Student Organizations. Check the COE Events regularly to learn about visiting speakers, conferences and forums, as well as social events, hosted by such organizations as the COE Alumni Association or the Graduate Student Network!
We understand that student financing is critical to college success, so links have been made available to provide up-to-date information on the matter. Students can connect to information on financial aid at Florida International University, privately endowed College of Education scholarships, and other sources of financial aid information nationwide. Those students who are currently employed with the Miami-Dade or Broward School Systems may want to explore the Useful Links for information on funding opportunities for teachers through the school systems, the state and the federal government. Students should make frequent use of these links to remain current with new information and opportunities that regularly become available.
