In an effort to help our students search for ways to fund their education, the College of Education has compiled a list of scholarships available at the college, university, and state levels. We encourage students to use the following list as a starting point for scholarship and funding searches, bearing in mind that it is not an exhaustive list of all the scholarship and grant opportunities available.

College of Education Private Scholarships

The College of Education offers a variety of scholarships made available through the generosity of individuals and corporations. Typically, scholarships are awarded in the summer for the following academic year. Both undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply; there are also some scholarships that are open to international students.

To be eligible to apply for scholarships, applicants must be seeking a degree in a major or program offered within the College. Financial need is a criterion for some scholarships, but it is not a requirement for application.

We will be accepting applications from January 3, 2009 though March 6, 2009.
